Not forgetting the KLASS (KLOSS), MAJEED, PERSAUD, and DOS SANTOS, WONG AND WRIGHT, WHEELER, STOREY, and GIBSON, SHEPHERD and REECE, VIEIRA, FERNANDES, DE FREITAS, ARNOLD and WALLS, NEIL and GARRAWAY - All make up the Sanchos paradigm and should not go unmentioned.
Hollingsworth, Jenkins, and English - may seem to complete this list but there are still quite a few families’ names that have not been mentioned. They, too, make up the paradigm, though unmentioned.
Thank you all for being a part of the Sancho family and associates from the “roots” to the “top of the tree”. We are still trying to find the connection with a few of them, but we know there is one.
WARD, AGOSTINI, BLACKMAN and LONG – you are too important not to be a big part of the whole. So, too, STEWART, ROBINSON, HEROD, OGLE, MILLER, WALDRON, MULLER, FRIDAY, BARKER, POLLARD, POOLE, SOBERS and BEHARRY.

PLEASE NOTE: there are a few surnames listed which I could not understand the hand-writing. Also, note, I may have made mistakes in the effort to decipher the hand-writing of our dear relative.
I must also state; I would have loved the mentioning of names of individuals including false names relative to the family names.
However, I am very grateful that our relatives have taken of their time to offer their view of our legacy.
The task is to locate folks who will point researchers in the much needed direction. Thereby, accounting for the understanding of the links to the kinship of Sancho – which may have existed between the groups of families.
Allow me to also add a number of the surnames were and are a complete surprise to me. I never realized they were perhaps resident in the Golden Grove and Nabaclis village District and/or the nearby communities on the upper East sea Coast of Demerara. I observed many were known to me as being resident in the city of Georgetown. What do I know? I am what they refer to as a baby boomer – a Johnny comes lately.

Identifying Gill Lineage - Descendants of Sancho

Soliciting Information - Gill of Guyana and Barbados.  I am really focusing on the Sancho lineage. I believe it's best to chat about the Gill people from the migration from Barbados to Demerara to the known members of Buxton and Friendship and thus to Golden Grove, Nabaclis and Haslington and their movement beyond Guyana in the twentieth century. I need to be enlightened.  I am soliciting information on the lineage of the kinship of GILL. I need to identify the Sancho ancestor of the members of the kinship of Gill, mentioned below. I am referring to Gill of Buxton-Friendship and their off springs - Arthur Gill and his descendants – of Golden Grove-Nabaclis.  The known members of this Gill kinship of Gill includes; Susan Elizabeth Gill died on Sunday, November 27, 1938.  Ms. Gill was 91 years old. Ms. Gill is the mother of Edith Gill, Irene Gill, Winnie Gill, Arthur Gill, Iris Gill, Oscar Gill, and Princess Gill. Source: The Daily Chronicle - Monday, November 27, 1939: page eight.  Art…

Who are Descendants of Clarence Sancho and Mary (David) Sancho?

Are you aware of Samuel David and Mary (David)Sancho of Golden Grove? Samuel David was a Sergeant of British Guiana Police Force.  Samuel David departed in 1945 or 1946. Mary David and Clarence Sancho were married. The couple had about seven children. Much respect to Wainwright for pointing pieces of information on the David and Sancho union  to me some 43 years ago. Who must I consult to acquire the  knowledge  relative to David family  especially the descendants of  grand Uncle Clarence  Sancho?

Bertrand Aaran Abrams (1929-1969).  An Unsung Guyanese Patriot “On July 21, 1954, the plaintiff was convicted by the magistrate of the East Demerara Judicial District for being on June 10, 1954, in possession of prohibited publications contrary to s. 4 of the Undesirable Publications (Prohibition of Importation) Ordinance, and fined $25 or one month’s imprisonment in default. The complaint was filed on June 30, 1954, and made returnable for July 7, 1954.”  “As the appeal against your conviction has been abandoned and the fine paid, I have to inform you that, in accordance with the ruling of the Law Officers for the breach of the emergency regulations, you are dismissed from your post as a Cl. II Assistant Teacher in Cane Grove Anglican School as from 11th January, 1955.”  - Joseph H. Jones, Manager, Cane Grove Anglican School. Opinion – I have no recollection of anyone telling Bertrand Abrams was fired as a school teacher. And for whatever the reasons offered by the colonial authorit…
